- Track and field: started at 8 years old and did this my whole childhood. At 15 I started teaching track and field to 9-11 year old kids and continued with this for 3 years.
- Sailing: I have been sailing my whole life and worked as a sailing instructor in the summer holidays for 8 years
- Rowing: When I started studying I started rowing, got into the competitive team and won the Dutch championships in the Womens 8+. Afterwards I also won races in the 4- and 2- womens heavyweights. After that I also coached the womens team for 1 season.
- Friluftsliv: During Covid I quit rowing to study Friluftsliv in Norway for half a year.
- Biking: I love Gravelbiking and bikepacking. Last summer I cycled The Northcape4000 race in 16,5 days and became the 7th women.
- Running: I ran 2 (small) ultra running races last year. The first one was 55 km and the other one was 8 hours. This spring I will run 88 km on the Lofoten.
- Physiotherapy: I studied Physiotherapy in The Netherlands and I have worked as a physiotherapist for 2 years. I have worked with people with general complaints, sports injuries, neurological diseases like Parkinsons, CVA, MS, reumathological patients. I did an internship at FC Groningen (football club) and at a rehabilitation centre.
- Human Movement Sciences: Bachelor in Groningen
- Exercise physiology: Master in Trondheim. I am now in my second semester.
- Guiding: working as a hiking / winter guide
