Sandra Aboy has been working as a personal trainer since 2019, focusing on strength training, cross-training, and movement technique. She has trained people who have conditions like fibromyalgia, pregnancy, obesity, stroke recovery, cancer, and older adults, as well as regular clients who want to improve or maintain a healthy lifestyle. With her extensive personal, academic, and professional experience, she helps people overcome challenges and feel better, no matter where they start.

Sandra’s passion for sports began at birth, being the daughter of a professional basketball player in a family of athletes who instilled a love for physical activity in her from a young age. She has been a basketball player, kids coach, and referee for several years. Today, she enjoys weightlifting, CrossFit, and urban dance, which she incorporates into her personal training sessions, helping others find their own passion for movement.

  • Physical activity for medical conditions such as obesity, cancer, fibromyalgia, and lower back pain.

Professional experience: Sandra has extensive professional experience in strength training and technique refinement.

She has developed specialized exercise programs for:

  • Clients with medical conditions: fibromyalgia, chronic pain, stroke recovery (ictus), shoulder and knee injuries, lower back pain, scoliosis, obesity, and cancer survivors.
  • Pregnant and postpartum women: helping them stay active safely while maintaining their previous fitness levels.
  • Older adults: improving strength, balance, and overall quality of life.
  • Police and firefighter candidates, long-distance runners, and basketball players.
  • Swimmers: prepared teenager athletes for the 2024 Spanish Championship of Adaptive Swimming.
  • Kids and teenagers: providing PT training in basketball, swimming, and athletics.

Sandra has also worked with elite athletes of the Unicaja Volleyball Team, which placed 2nd in the Spanish national league in 2021. As a Strength & Conditioning Trainer, she collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to optimize sports performance.
